This year Voces Latinas turns 15 years old. We will be celebrating by having a Quinceañera ceremony for the organization on October 11, 2018 at Renaissance in Astoria. In the Latino community, a Quinceañera is similar to a rite of passage from girlhood to womanhood. It involves Godparents, family members and close friends, those that have contributed in one way or another to the development and growth of a young woman.
