Voces Latinas Quinceanera
This year Voces Latinas turns 15 years old. We will be celebrating by having a Quinceañera ceremony for the organization on October 11, 2018 at Renaissance in Astoria. In the Latino community, a Quinceañera is similar to a rite of passage from girlhood to womanhood. Last year the Bureau of Primary Care Access and Planning at the DOHMH completed a consumer health literacy project funded by the NYS Population Health Improvement Program (PHIP).
